SOMETHING IS BREWING….

Somewhere between the last summer thunderstorm and the first whiff of cinnamon broom, something strange begins to stir… A haunted breeze whispers through the neighborhood, rustling plastic skeletons into place and coaxing long-dormant ghouls out of hiding. My decaf coffee tastes mysteriously like caramel apples, and the local CVS has already surrendered to a sea of plastic pumpkins and candy corn. The signs are clear: Halloween is clawing its way back — and I, for one, wouldn’t dare stand in its way.

Now, cards on the table: this year’s Leftover Pizza Halloween Celebration is going to be a little smaller than last years. Life threw a few tricks my way, and here I am — the first couple weeks of October — still dusting off the cobwebs (the real ones, not the decorations). But hey, Halloween is nothing if not about making the best of what you’ve got, and we’ve still got plenty of spooky spirit to go around. Better late than never!

So, here’s what’s bubbling in the cauldron:

Vintage Halloween Ads Pt. 2 — another round of vintage, weird, and nostalgic Halloween marketing gems!

New Halloween Junk Food 2025 — we’ll see what delicious monstrosities the snack companies cooked up this year!

Halloween Highlights 2025 — our seasonal journal of odds, ends, and eerie little moments that might not deserve a full post, but together capture the magic of the season!

It may be a smaller celebration, but that doesn’t make it any less special. Halloween is precious, fleeting, and always worth savoring — even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Happy haunting, ghouls and goblins! May your pumpkins glow bright, your candy haul be suspiciously generous, and your seasonal allergies be merciful.
